Cyber training shows results
Computer viruses, spam emails, GDPR... Cybersecurity is more important today than ever — one wrong click is enough to paralyze a company for an unforeseeable period of time. And with regard to the GDPR, careless handling of emails is also a problem: When an attack on a company's IT structure, sensitive, personal data (data from customers, employees) can fall into the hands of third parties.
Online courses and phishing emails for more cybersecurity
For this reason, we started about a year ago with a Cybersecurity training of perseus. First, we learned how to identify attacks and prevent damage in online courses. It then became really exciting: Fake phishing emails were sent from time to time by the provider. If you recognize the threat, you will be credited with points. The results were summarized in a leaderboard (anonymously, of course, upon request). This allowed us to challenge each other internally — who is in first place today?
Your data is safe with us
The fake emails made ECON TEL employees aware of cyber threats, while the online training courses — which can be viewed again at any time, by the way — provided important information to understand the cybersecurity issue.
Now, a year later, we can say with even more certainty: Your data is safe with us!
