Antonia Buthe began her professional career at ECON TEL over three years ago. She started out as an employee in telephone sales — temporarily. It quickly became clear to her that she would also like to complete her training in our company. We asked Antonia why she chose ECON TEL back then and why it was the right choice for her.
The last written exam is behind you and you are now officially an office management assistant. Congratulations! How does it feel to complete your education?
It's amazing how fast time flies! On the one hand, I think it's great to finally be able to officially call myself an office management assistant. On the other hand, I will miss the time of my training and the company. All in all, I can say that I am very satisfied with my training at ECON TEL! I have developed in various areas and have gained a lot of experience as a result.
Were there any highlights during your training? In our company — and also in your vocational school?
My education was very diverse, so I can't name a specific highlight here. What has always impressed me about ECON TEL: The customers and, accordingly, the orders and projects are very individual. As a result, everyday work was never monotonous; you could advance your ideas and broaden your horizons together as a team.
And why did you choose ECON TEL back then?
Before my training, I worked for a large market research and consulting company for the agricultural sector. That's when I gained my first professional experience and learned what is important to me in my job — namely variety and challenge. I found exactly these points again when I saw the job advertisement for my apprenticeship. The variety of tasks at ECON TEL inspired and motivated me again and again.
Imagination and reality: Did the training meet your expectations?
Definitely! Before I began my training, I worked at the company for half a year as an employee for customer projects. As a result, I was able to get to know the company before I started my apprenticeship and thus make a good decision — to train with ECON TEL. I am particularly grateful that I have found an employer who places appreciation and open communication first.
What would you like to say to prospective ECON TEL trainees?
ECON TEL gives you the opportunity to gain a foothold in working life and develop yourself both professionally and personally. If you love challenges and want to develop in your career, you've come to the right place!
