Emma, you have been training as an office management assistant at ECON TEL for 1.5 years. Tell us: What exactly are you doing?
I am currently working in the project administration department together with five other colleagues. My area of responsibility includes project preparation — i.e. creating project books for collaboration between our project staff and customers. But working with our customer system and evaluating project results in the form of presentations are also regularly part of my daily routine.
That sounds exciting! Why did you choose this training exactly?
I've always been interested in administration and organization. Even before my training, I completed an internship in this area and that's when I realized — that's exactly what it is! In addition to the exciting tasks, the training has another advantage: It opens up many career opportunities. This allows me to develop further and gain experience later on. That is precisely what is very important to me.
Can you still remember your first week at ECON TEL?
Oh yes! Right on the first day, I was warmly welcomed by the team. I felt very comfortable right away! I started during Corona: Some colleagues were working from home, but I was also able to get to know them and connect quickly — digitally. And what I liked the most: Right in the first week, I was able to take on a few tasks and felt valued as a result.
Speaking of tasks: Are there any activities in your education that you love? And which ones you don't like so much?
I can't even name any specific tasks. What I definitely like is that my team is constantly taking on new exciting challenges and that we master them together — no one is left alone with their tasks. In addition, there is never a dull moment due to a lot of variety.
What makes ECON TEL different from other trainers?
At ECON TEL, appreciation and trust are very important. I notice this when dealing with colleagues: I am taken seriously as an apprentice, I can ask questions at any time and was able to take on tasks independently even at an early stage. They also place great value on individual professional and personal development. For example, participation in seminars at Young Pro Academy offered. But everyone can also be individually coached (in-house) by our team of trainers on a wide variety of topics.
Would you choose to train at ECON TEL again?
Definitely! With ECON TEL, I have the best start to my professional life that I could only imagine. I'm looking forward to the next 1.5 years of training!
